The R2v3 Standard, overseen by the non-profit Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI), is an internationally recognized environmental certification for recyclers of electronic equipment.

It requires businesses that refurbish and recycle used electronics to comply with a common framework for safety and documentation.

At Horizon, we embrace and expect best practice at every stage of the hardware lifecycle. When it is no longer possible to reuse a retiring asset, we are committed to its safe, secure disposal in strict compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Businesses that wish to implement and maintain a quality management system adopt the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

The ISO 9001:2015 standard requires companies to demonstrate a strong customer focus, to commit to continuous improvement, and to ensure senior leadership’s involvement in quality management. Organizations must create documented processes designed to achieve and exceed their own expectations for quality.

At Horizon Technology, we believe in maintaining rigorous quality processes that instill confidence at every level.

The ISO 14001:2015 standard lays out the framework for an environmental management system that organizations adopt and systematically implement.

By helping firms identify and own their environmental responsibilities, the certification offers assurances to a company’s stakeholders that an organization is committed to mitigating its environmental impact.

At Horizon, reducing our environmental footprint, and that of our clients, is core to how we do business. Intelligent management of the hardware lifecycle is a central aspect of the value we offer.
